Here's a little about me:

I am a 24 year old interdisciplinary theatre artist (writer, dramaturg, actor, & director) who firmly believes honesty, collaboration, and trust are the most important ingredients when making a play. More than ever before, I believe we must be good artists, and better people, opening our doors and expanding our influence beyond the theatre.
During my time at the University of Texas, I studied different methodologies of new play development, sharpened my voice, wrote extensively, and fell in love with good breakfast tacos. After a lifetime in the heat, I recently relocated to Chicago, IL.
Currently I have a few plays in development, but recently finished the 5th draft of take care, and hope to have more news on a full-production soon!
And one final thing, if you’re reading this: Thank you.
As a dramaturgically-driven theatre practitioner I seek to discover & share the magic of the everyday while grounding even the most fantastic of elements in our brutal reality.
Through my diverse body of work, I endeavor to build theatrical experiences from the ground up. Composing structure, world, characters, and story from peculiar sources (pop-songs, lost & found text, human physiology and psychology) to explore the depths of humanity in their many combinations (queer love/bathrooms, Kanye West/road trips, Snapchat-news/horror, etc). Striving to place these enduring human narratives within worlds and spaces that often nurture the opposite- filling the space with both tension & love.
